Privacy Policy

Cyber Hardware is an editorial website. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no advertising, so it collects as little data as a website can.
What is collected
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse.
- Audience measurement. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights record aggregated page views and performance metrics. They do not use cookies and do not build cross-site profiles.
- Pages visited and a few actions on them, with country, device and browser type, are also measured by a self-hosted Trailic, with no cookies and no identification of visitors.
- Preferences. Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer it.
What is not collected
No advertising or tracking cookies, no affiliate trackers, no fingerprinting and no sale or sharing of personal data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). Write to contact@cyberhardware.org.
